「ブルービークル」がテストコースを駆け抜けた。

"Blue Vehicle" ran through the test course.

東京モーターショーへ出展した All GaNビークルのコンセプトカー「ブルービークル」は、富士スピドウェイでお披露目したバギータイプの「グリーンビークル」と車両プラットフォームは同じにする兄弟車である。

"Blue Vehicle", a concept car of the all GaN vehicle, exhibited at the Tokyo Motor Show is a sibling of the buggy-type "Green Vehicle" unveiled at the Fuji Speedway, and shares the same vehicle platform.

当日は天候に恵まれ、マットブルーのボディー色が眩しい。

The day of the test run was blessed with fine weather, and the matte blue body color was dazzling.

 

スパ西浦モーターパーク（愛知県蒲郡市）

Spa Nishiura Motor Park (Gamagori, Aichi)

 

コロナ感染でお披露目が遅れていたが、12月2-3日、愛知県蒲郡市のスパ西浦モーターパークで、公開テスト走行を実施した。

Although the debut was delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic, the test run was conducted at the Spa Nishiura Motor Park in Gamagori, Aichi Prefecture, on December 2-3, 2021.

西浦モーターパークは、名古屋から1時間の海辺の気持ち良いテストコースである。

Nishiura Motor Park has a pleasant seaside test course, located just one hour away from Nagoya.

最高速度は ３５ｋｍ／ｈ 制限しているが・・・
内燃機関とは明らかに違う。

Even though the maximum speed was limited to 35 km/h, the vehicle showed a clear difference from that with an internal combustion engine.

モータらしい低速域の豊かなトルク感のおかげでGaNビークルの爽快な走りを体験できた。

Thanks to the rich torque at low speed that is typical of a motor, we were able to have an exhilarating driving experience of a GaN vehicle.

後輪に配置したインホイルモータはアクセルペダルの動きに対して忠実で、素早くスムーズに路面にパワーを伝える。

In-wheel motors placed at the rear wheels are faithful to the movement of the accelerator pedal and transmit power to the road surface quickly and smoothly.

新開発のカーボンサスペンションやハニカムボード樹脂バッテリケースによる大幅な軽量化は、流れるようにコーナーを駆け抜けることを実現している。

Significant weight reductions due to the newly developed carbon suspension and honeycomb-board resin battery case enabled the car to move through corners with fluidity.

2日間の試走を無事に終え、GaNインバータの性能とブルービークルとのマッチングを確認することができた。

After successfully completing the two-day test run, we were able to confirm the performance of the GaN inverter and its matching with the Blue Vehicle.

当日は、ブルービークル以外に市販ＥＶを持ち込み乗り比べの評価を実施したので、次回、紹介する。
